Note -- policeman in left foreground: on the left: Chief [illegible], on the right: Monty[Marty?] McCann. Behind them Bedford Police Dept.'s first cruiser -- a Model A Ford purchased from John's father, Richard Dodge who was a Ford Dealer." Also: "1929 -- Bicentennial of Bedford. The Great Road at Elm St. showing Bedford Grange Hall (now fire station.)" July 2018: Received information via PastPerfect Online. The police chief at that time was Fred Sullivan, and the officer on the right was Martin McMahan.

8. Ribbon, Membership - Reversible Bedford Grange ribbon and pin. Front has Grange name and number, with "Patrons of Husbandry" badge. Ribbon can be reversed, back is a black "In Memoriam" ribbon. Bottom has gold wire fringe. In small print on reverse of red, white & blue ribbon, someone has written, "L L (?) K K 1917".
