November 27, 1848 Reuben Bacon, Justice of the Peace, ordered the Middlesex County sheriff, his deputies, or the constable of Burlington to attch the goods or estate of
Quniez (?) Dean of Burlington to the value of $20 and summon Dean to appear before him December 9, 1848 at 1:00 p.m. and answer to Albert Bacon. On March 23, 1848 Dean had promised to pay Albert Bacon $17.90 with interest but had not done so. Dean had made Nathan Simonds trustee of his goods and estate so the sheriff, deputies or constable are commanded to bring Simonds before Reuben Bacon.
